Sherab is an excellent guide, very professional, friendly and courteous. We also had an excellent driver, Pema, who does not usually join tours. They were so caring towards us and went out of their way for our comfort. We felt we gained such an insight into Bhutan that we have the utmost respect for that culture. We were pleased with our itinerary. We stayed in four hotels. The first two were very good, the last two could be improved. Tiger Nest Resort is a wonderful building with a spectacular view. The staff were extremely courteous and helpful. However, the bed was extremely uncomfortable, which the staff tried to address and the manager apologised for. The hot water was not reliable. The food could be improved. Hotel Vara was well appointed, but the food was not very good and not all the staff were attentive. We very much liked Bhutan Suites - excellent food, comfortable facilities and pleasant staff. Wangdue Eco Lodge was charming in all respects.”
