India was amazing!!! and fascinating in many ways. The holiday was perfect- all managed very efficiently by a very welcoming and friendly OTG Indian team. I was met perfectly at Delhi airport, and throughout the holiday, everyone we met- hotel staff, bus /coach drivers , local Indians on the street, were so helpful. Yusuf our guide worked so hard, and was fantastic in every respect. We all felt lost when we left him at Udaipur airport!!!. For me, the hotels were all excellent, I loved finishing at Udaipur with those great rooms and views. Could have stayed longer.!! Great to stay in a small family hotel at Jodhpur too. Yusuf gave us all very detailed info about all the temples/ forts / palaces that we visited- how does he remember??? I loved the Indian dance at Bikaner, the camel and elephant rides were great add on experiences. Great to stay briefly in rural India at Ranakpur.
Great to get a brief glimpse of school life too . Great Indian food of course. Rajeev was so good in meeting us at Delhi airport too. Got to do a bit of independent stuff too, which I loved. Obviously , it was a very gentle , sheltered introduction to India- for me , anyway, and removed from the realities of daily life. But , we saw so much, and now I miss it already!!!
We gave the feedback sheets to Yusuf, so you may have seen them by now. Very many thanks also to yourself and all the OTG team in London, for all your input and help- all much appreciated. Next time I'll be be more relaxed about stuff!! Will be in touch.”
