“
Tour: Overall, very good. Some problems with hotels, particularly the Almondz at Dehli (outlined in feedback survey at end of tour). The tour was very 'action packed', with too little free time. The exclusion of most meals was a bit ingenuous, as we really didn't have an option to 'go off' to our own choice of eateries. Rather, we were pretty much obliged to eat at where we were taken or the hotels we stayed at. A personal disappointment for me was not getting to see the main entrance of Fatepur Sikri. Because of flight difficulties, my partner and I spent too long at Khajuraho and too little time at Varanasi. More time could have been spent at Agra (not for the Taj, but for the other sites - eg on the other side of the river, and around the city). The highlights were, of course, the Taj, but also the visit to the school, the tour of Orcha, and the evening and morning trips to the ghats at Banaras. I would recommend the tour to anyone considering a guided tour of northern India
Guide: Absolutely excellent. A real asset to your company. He was exceptionally knowledgeable, and more than willing to share that knowledge. A real guide and teacher. He organised a seamless experience and really made the tour memorable. Great praise.”
