Laos Travel Advice for UK Travellers

We keep abreast of the latest travel guidance to Laos and follow advice as set out by the British Foreign Office. Safety of our travellers is paramount and we recommend that you check the latest travel updates from the FCO before you travel.

Flying to Laos from the UK:

The capital city of Vientiane serves as the international gateway to Laos and the average flight time from London is 17 hours. There are no direct flights from the UK to Laos and all airlines make one or two transit stops en route. One of the most popular, and quickest, flight options is with Thai Airways via Bangkok. If you are departing from Manchester then Air France via Paris and Bangkok or Emirates via Dubai and Bangkok are both good options. Air France is also a great choice for those flying from Edinburgh. We have a full ATOL licence (ATOL 6109) and would be delighted to provide assistance with your flight booking.
