Founded around a thousand years ago, Oslo's roots can be traced back to the Viking Age when it was known as "Christiania" or "Kristiania" until it reclaimed its original name in 1925. Today, it stands as a testament to its historical significance, with fascinating museums, ancient Viking relics, and well-preserved historic landmarks such as the medieval Akershus Fortress.
Upon your arrival at the airport, you will be met and transferred to the hotel. After check-in, the remainder of the day is yours to explore the city at your own pace.
