Aswan Sail on the Nile

This afternoon tour commences at approximately 15:00, with pick up from your hotel. You will be transferred to the riverside for an afternoon journey on a traditional sailing boat (felucca) from Aswan to the nearby Elephantine Island. On this lesser-visited island, you can meet local people with your guide and see how they live. Visit the Nilometer, which was invented to read and predict the level of water on the Nile. After exploring the island, we sail slowly back to Aswan aboard our felucca, relaxing on comfortable cushions as we sail.

Disembarking, our guide will take you on a walking tour of the lively night markets of Aswan. You can try local street food, do some souvenir shopping and experience the vibrant atmosphere of the markets. This tour ends back at your hotel at approximately 17:00.
