India Travel Advice for Travellers from South Africa:

Safety of our travellers is paramount and we keep abreast of the latest travel advice to India. We recommend that you check the latest travel advice from the consular in South Africa when planning your trip. We follow the advice of the FCO who currently advise against travel to Kashmir and so we are unable to operate tours to this region at present.

Flying to India from South Africa:

The intoxicating sights and sounds of India are around a 14 hour flight from South Africa with Delhi serving as the main international gateway and starting point for the vast majority of our tours. If flying from Johannesburg then the most direct flight options are with Emirates via Dubai and South African Airways via Abu Dhabi. You may find the route between the transit point and Delhi is operated on a code share. From Cape Town Emirates is one of the best options with many airlines requiring an additional stop in Johannesburg en route. Check out Travelstart for flight deals from South Africa to India.
